Out of the Silence

Tortoise falling over

After a year of retirement

It’s been a long time since I posted anything here. Really a year and more since I said much of anything out loud. No preaching. No blogging. Not even any arguing. Just getting used to being retired. Retiring.

One of my goals for this new year, though, is more writing, more conversation. Not that what I write is worth the world paying attention. But I need the conversation. My grandson got a new tortoise a couple of months ago. He spent the first week holed up in his shell. That’s kind of what this last year has felt like. Time to come out of my shell.

So, thanks for reading and even more for commenting/replying.

Synnove, thanks for the comment. Those were good times and I learned so much from all of you and our conversations on Wednesday nights too. I pray that you all, we all, keep hearing Jesus talk through his word and one another.
